Rui was born in Xi'an, China, and graduated from Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts. Currently, he is studying at the Goldsmiths, University of London. Throughout his artistic exploration, Rui gradually realizes that integrating, processing, and re-presenting existing information on the stage of contemporary art is a meaningful process of reflection. It reshapes established fields, visual forms, and various practices, mutually influencing and complementing each other, showcasing a continuous way of presenting data. It bears little resemblance to the framed prints on the wall.
